The Fees for the 2025 / 2026 season are: (Covers both the Summer & Winter Seasons)

    • Little Athletes (Born 2015–2020) → LAWA Program U7–U12 → Membership Cost: $226.00

    • Juniors (Born 2009–2014) → LAWA Program U13–U18  → Membership Cost: $236.20

    • Dual Membership (U13+) → LAWA Program & Strive Program → Membership Cost: $282.10 (plus small weekly event fees at Strive)

Parent & Athlete Commitments

Before Joining HWLAC Little Athletics, we just want to make you aware of the parent/guardian/athlete requirements and commitments.

  • Training: Training is held two times per week with the main training session on Thursday. Whilst we recommend you try and attend at least one session, they are not compulsory. At least 1 parent/guardian must be in attendance when your athlete is at training. We do ask that where possible you get involved and assist. This may be things like helping set up equipment, assisting with controlling and directing the kids or assisting the coaches with coaching cues and technique.

 

  • Competition: When you join, it is a requirement that you attend as many competition days as you can. On Competition Days, 1 family representative will be required to volunteer to help run one of the many sites. These are easy tasks where you will work under a key official and fulfil duties such as being a recorder, assisting with measurements, retrieving equipment and/or organising/directing athletes. You can expect to be rostered on approx 7-8 times during the season.

Juniors

Year of Birth 2009-2014

  • 2009 = Under 18
  • 2010 = Under 17
  • 2011 = Under 16
  • 2012 = Under 15
  • 2013 = Under 14
  • 2014 = Under 13

Little Athlete (LA’s)

Year of Birth 2015-2020

  • 2015 = Under 12
  • 2016 = Under 11
  • 2017 = Under 10
  • 2018 = Under 9
  • 2019 = Under 8
  • 2020 = Under 7

We Are A KidSport Approved Club

Kids Sport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance of up to $300 per calendar year towards club fees.

Applications can be made either online or by downloading the information and application form.  You will need to apply and have received your voucher before you can register. There will be an option for you to select voucher and enter your Kids Sport code during the online registration process.

Please note, Kids Sport can take up to 10 days to be approved and for you to receive your voucher code. Apply for your KidSport vouchers here.
