REGISTRATION & AGE GROUPS

Registrations Open: 1st September

  • Returning Members, you will need to register online via our unique registration link which will be sent to you.
  • New Members, Please contact us for further details. We highly recommend you come and try before making the decision to join. 

The Fees for the 2024 / 2025 season are:

  • 1st Family Athlete – $230 + Processing Fee
  • Each additional Family Athlete – $210 + Processing Fee

This covers both the Summer & Winter Seasons

Age groups are aligned to year of birth. Children must have been born in 2008-2019 inclusive. Age groups are automatically allocated and applied when you register in the ResultsHQ system.

Kidsport Vouchers – If you are eligible & would like to apply for KidSport vouchers, please do so ASAP as you will need to
enter your voucher code when registering & paying. Voucher codes can take up to 10 days to be approved. Apply for your KidSport vouchers here.

Parent & Athlete Commitments

Before Joining HWLAC Little Athletics, we just want to make you aware of the parent/guardian/athlete requirements and commitments.

 

  • Training: Training is held two times per week with the main training session on Thursday. Whilst we recommend you try and attend at least one session, they are not compulsory. At least 1 parent/guardian must be in attendance when your athlete is at training. We do ask that where possible you get involved and assist. This may be things like helping set up equipment, assisting with controlling and directing the kids or assisting the coaches with coaching cues and technique.

 

  • Competition: When you join, it is a requirement that you attend as many competition days as you can. On Competition Days, 1 family representative will be required to volunteer to help run one of the many sites. These are easy tasks where you will work under a key official and fulfil duties such as being a recorder, assisting with measurements, retrieving equipment and/or organising/directing athletes. You can expect to be rostered on approx 7-8 times during the season.

New Members

Congratulations on making the decision to join Little Athletics. The process to register is quick and easy and is done all through the online Results HQ platform via our unique club registration link which the club registrar will send you. Please Note: If you are a NEW MEMBER, we require you to attend club training before registering so you can find out what is involved and your family requirements before joining.

Please remember that “proof of age” (eg. Birth Certificate or Passport) must be sighted for all new registrations or uploaded during the registration process. Please use the table above to work out your child’s age group.

  1. Go to the registration link provided by club registrar.
  2. Click on Create new family account and follow the prompts to create one
  3. When completing your details and adding a member make sure you Choose High Wycombe Little Athletics Club (HWLAC).
  4. Answer the Questions and upload proof of age document.
  5. If you need to register a second athlete, simply click the add new button and repeat steps above. When you have finished adding all athletes click next and answer all questions then click next.
  6. Review details in the summary.
  7. Select payment option (Cash, Voucher (Kidsport), Credit card or Paypal) Voucher must be selected if using Kidsport.
  8. Click pay and you will receive a receipt as confirmation.

**KidSport Vouchers – If you have applied or have a Kidsport Voucher simply select Voucher Payment Method from the drop-down options (If it is not there, it’s highly likely the Centre/State Association has not yet set this up so come back at a later date). Selecting the Voucher loads the payment form so select the Athlete the voucher is to be used for and complete the Custom Values and Questions that are part of the Voucher Form. Once Applied to the registration, any balance still outstanding requires payment to complete the Registration. For multiple Athletes, additional vouchers can be added. Registrations will be completed once the voucher has been Approved by the Centre (Belmont LAC). If a voucher is not valid you will be notified.

Congratulations you are now registered.

Your athlete race number, age tag and sponsor tags needed for competitions will be organised and handed to you at training. You will need to purchase a club shirt for competitions. Please refer to our club uniform page for more information.

Returning Athletes

Welcome back for another season of Little Athletics. The process to re-register is a bit different this season. You will receive a unique club registration link via club registrar. This will take you to the registration page on results HQ, then simply follow the step below.

*Please Note: If you have or are applying for KidSport vouchers, please ensure you have your voucher code before trying to register. See details above for information about KidSport vouchers.

  1. Go to the registration link provided by club registrar.
  2. Sign into your Results HQ account and check your details
  3. When completing your member/athlete details, click on the pencil icon and make sure you choose High Wycombe Little Athletics Club (HWLAC).
  4. If you need to register a second athlete, simply click the add new button and repeat steps above.
  5. When you have finished adding all athletes click next and answer all questions.
  6. Review details in the summary.
  7. Select payment option (Cash, Voucher (Kidsport), Credit card or Paypal) Voucher must be selected if using Kidsport.
  8. Click pay and you will receive a receipt as confirmation.
